The Proof Copy II

It's depressing that I have found two "printing" errors in the first 63 pages. I cannot ignore them and let them interfere with the story. But, the correction will mean further delays in the release of "Cottonwood Pass." I still must read the rest of it as well to see what else lurks in the spacing, indents, and justification.

Aaaarrrgghh !

  1. Keep up the proofreading, even after it is published, you will find errors. I felt the same with my Master Thesis. One of the tricks I used was to read the sentences backwards, you'll be surprised how many errors who'll find and you are not necessarily reading word for word with the story going on in your head, you see the letters and if something comes up that is suspicious, a quick look at the line reading forwards tells you where you are and the correction if necessary can be made.

I look forward to your future posts.
